Consumer Brand Licensing

Ms. Baribeau is a licensing subject matter expert for IPmetrics LLC. She is President and Co-Founder of IMC Licensing, a leading agency specializing in consumer product brands.  Moreover, IMC Licensing has done more food and beverage licensing than any other agency in the world for clients including Kraft Foods (Oscar Mayer, Planters, Crystal Light, A.1., Milk Bone, Oreo), Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company (Life Savers), Chiquita, Dole, Sunkist, TABASCO, and Brown Forman Corporation (Southern Comfort, Jack Daniels), among others.

Ms. Baribeau is IMC Licensing’s lead strategist having shaped the licensing vision for some of the world’s top brands.  Since co-founding IMC in 1997, Ms. Baribeau has developed wide-ranging portfolios of licensed products for several clients and has led the process by which IMC develops its own portfolio of new clients.

Ms. Baribeau has published articles in The Licensing Journal and brandchannel.com, among others, and has been a featured speaker at leading industry events including Licensing University, LINK and Symphony IRI Group Summit.  Ms. Baribeau has also served as an expert witness on matters related to trademark licensing.

Before joining IMC, Ms. Baribeau worked for International Sports Marketing, Inc. where she represented professional athletes in licensing and other transactions for Network International and for the Pittsburgh Pirates Baseball Club. 

Ms. Baribeau co-founded the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Kentucky and serves on the Board of the Community Foundation of Louisville.  Ms. Baribeau received a B.A. in Communication from Chatham College.
